If Map It cannot fetch a page

Confirm the page has a normal HTTP or HTTPS address.
Open the page directly and confirm it is still available.
Try again after a short wait if the site is temporarily unavailable.
Remember that Map It fetches the page on its server. Logged-in, private, subscriber-only and paywalled pages may not be accessible because the server does not receive your browser session or cookies.
Some sites block automated server fetching. In that case, use a public source or submit supported text/document input on the Map It website.

Report a problem

Before reporting, note:

extension version 1.0.0 and your Chrome version;
the visible error message and the step where it appeared;
whether the source is public or requires a login; and
steps that reproduce the problem.

Do not include a private edit link, authentication information, personal data or source content unless it is necessary for your request.

When you email us, we collect your sender details, message and attachments through our email provider to answer and manage your support or privacy request and keep required records. Account and privacy requests

You can start account deletion from Account settings while signed in. Map It asks you to reverify your identity and type DELETE before it accepts the request. After the request starts, use the private deletion-status page for progress and retry instructions.

For a privacy question, access or rectification request, complaint, or deletion issue, email support@mapit.info. Map It may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
