If Map It cannot fetch a page

1. Confirm the page has a normal HTTP or HTTPS address.
2. Open the page directly and confirm it is still available.
3. Try again after a short wait if the site is temporarily unavailable.
4. Remember that Map It fetches the page on its server. Logged-in, private, subscriber-only, and paywalled pages may not be accessible because the server does not receive your browser session or cookies.
5. Some sites block automated server fetching. In that case, use a public source or submit supported text/document input on the Map It website.

Report a problem

Before reporting, note:

• extension version 1.0.0 and your Chrome version;
• the visible error message and the step where it appeared;
• whether the source is public or requires a login;
• steps that reproduce the problem.

Privacy

The extension sends data only after its disclosure is accepted and you choose to map the selected page.
